Pacific Cost Highway here we come
on top of a mountain overlooking a little piece of LA
We are now in LA getting a feel for the big city. We’ve had a fire on the beach, plenty of in and out, and some good memories. Next we head up north to the redwoods and Oregon.

We woke up for a beautifully painted Grand Canyon sunrise. It was about midnight when we drove up to a deserted park entry booth.
“Booth closed. Please enjoy the park”. We didn’t dare disobey the sign. So we drove in, saving ourselves a 20 dollar entry fee. It’s been an amazing morning at the Grand Canyon. It’s time to explore Montezuma Castle.

I woke up to the boys catching z’s after our first night of sleeping in the truck. We pulled over at a rest stop in Holyrood, Colorado; conveniently located right next to a busy train track. Needless to say, it was a bit difficult to get a good nights sleep. However, we found peace in knowing that our restlessness was a small price we’d pay for the indescribable things we would soon see. Tonight, however, is being spent playing guitar and drinking beer at a nice motel in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Tomorrow, Santa Fe is ours :)

Today marks the beginning of a journey. The starting point, Geneva. Destination, freedom of the road. We embarked at 3:30 on 1/26/12. We being Andrew Webb, Amanda Stutzman, and I, Jeffrey Johnson. We are from all different walks of life here to experience the drive of a lifetime. Over the next 60 days we will see more than others will see in a lifetime and will be soaking in every second of it. To become better people through the gain of knowledge and the desire for the truth.
